Spanish in Puerto Rico Application Deadline Extended to 1/31/25

Complete your language GE requirement in 9 weeks on a beautiful island in the Caribbean in the summer!

Live an immersive experience in Puerto Rico, a place full of history in which Spanish traditions are interwoven with US culture, offering a unique opportunity for students to witness life on an island that carries within the complexities and the joys of biculturalism. Students will learn and practice their Spanish with PLNU professors and locals, while participating in a series of excursions and events in which they will explore the natural beauty of the island, its history and artistic traditions.

COURSES:

*SPA 1001 Elementary Spanish I (GE) (4 Units) Summer Session I
*SPA 1002 Elementary Spanish II (GE) (4 Units) Summer Session II (Prerequisite: SPA 1001)

*Students may select summer session I (SPA 1001), summer session II (SPA 1002), or both sessions I & II. It is highly recommended for students to enroll in both sessions.
